PM CDT...
At 454 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles west of Olpe, moving north at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Hail damage to outdoor objects and
vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Emporia and Olpe.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 35 between mile markers 128 and 142.
Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 117 and 130.
