Low temperatures tonight will vary from the upper 40s in the perennial cold spots of Northwestern PA, to the low and mid 60s in the Greater Philadelphia Area. Showers will become numerous during the mid to late afternoon Saturday across Central and Western PA, with a few thunderstorms possible as well. Some storms may be capable of producing gusty winds, mainly along and west of the Alleghenies. Spottier showers are expected over Eastern PA during the day, with chances of showers continuing into the night. High temperatures on Saturday will range from the lower 80s west of the Alleghenies to the mid- to-upper 70s east of the Alleghenies. Next week will start off mainly dry and seasonably cool in the wake of Saturday's system, with highs mainly in the 70s and lower 80s. $$
