This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

There is the potential for thunderstorms to move into the area late 
tonight, generally along the Highway 20 corridor after midnight. A 
few of these storms may be severe with damaging winds, large hail, 
and frequent lightning as the main threats. 

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

There is the potential that thunderstorms will continue to spread 
south and eastward Friday morning across the area. A few of these 
storms may be severe with damaging winds, large hail, and frequent 
lightning as the main threats. 

The first significant heat episode of the summer will occur Saturday 
into early next week, with heat indices potentially topping 105 
degrees on multiple days along with high confidence in very warm 
nighttime lows. This may result in prolonged heat stress impacts.
