.DISCUSSION...
Today, a tropical wave is expected to approach the islands,
enhancing the potential for shower and thunderstorm activity,
particularly over central and southern Puerto Rico. Winds will
prevail from the northeast at 10 to 15 mph across the area.
Relative humidity trend suggests values near to slightly above
thresholds over the southern coastal plains of Puerto Rico (near
55-60%). The expected afternoon convective activity will increase
the potential to observe urban and small stream flooding in low-
lying areas. At this time, the fire danger threat will remain low
today.
