.DISCUSSION...
A weakening front pushing into North Florida today will sag into
Central Florida Friday, continuing very high rain chances. A non-
tropical low pressure system is forecast to develop over the
Atlantic waters along this boundary Friday night into early
Saturday, shifting the cold front southward, and ushering in drier
air this weekend and early next week. There has been a downward
trend in forecast winds for the weekend due to slight differences
where the low is forecast to develop and track. Breezy conditions
remain forecast for the coastal corridor, while more moderate though
gusty winds are forecast for the rest of the area. Winds shift from
the NNE-NE Friday to the NNW-NNE Saturday and early next week.
Dispersion values now forecast to be mostly Poor to Fair Friday and
Fair Saturday as forecast transport winds decrease some and mixing
heights remain low. No min RH concerns this weekend, and min RH
concerns are currently not forecast as the much drier post-frontal
airmass builds into the area early next week, but a slight increase
in forecast temperatures has resulted in lower humidity values than
previous forecasts, down to 40-50% by Monday and Tuesday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
However, localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or
existing fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
