The National Weather Service in San Angelo has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Sutton County in west central Texas...

* Until 1030 AM CDT.

* At 907 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 4 and 7 inches of rain 
  have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are 
  possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected 
  to begin shortly.

  HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
           producing flash flooding.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
           urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Sonora, The Intersection Of Us-277 And Ranch Road 189 and Us-277 
  Near The Sutton-Edwards County Line.

This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 393 and 425.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
