Dangerous avalanche conditions develop on Tuesday morning and last through the day. Expect the Avalanche Danger to rise to HIGH (Level 4 of 5). *WHERE... Elk Mountains AND Gore Range. *WHEN... Expect very dangerous avalanche conditions to begin on Tuesday morning by about 7:00 AM and last until 5:00 PM. *IMPACTS... High snowfall rates and strong winds will create dangerous avalanche conditions by Tuesday morning. Large and dangerous avalanches will be easy to trigger once the new snow accumulates.
