The tornado is estimated to have tracked about a mile across unpopulated desert land about 2 miles north of Interstate 40 and 8 miles east of the Kingman, AZ Airport. Details were estimated from radar and photo and video footage as well as reports from Mohave County Emergency Management. .Kingman Area Tornado... Rating: EF-0 (No damage reported) Path Length: 1 Mile Path Width /Maximum/: 50 Yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: Jul 24 2020 Start Time: 1055 AM MST Start Location: ~8 miles E of Kingman Airport Start Lat/Lon: 35.2220, -113.8609 End Date: Jul 24 2020 End Time: 1103 AM MST End Location: ~9 miles E of Kingman Airport End Lat/Lon: 35.2360 / -113.8579 Survey Summary: No formal survey was performed; however, a reasonable estimate of the track, timing, and location were determined from radar, multiple photo and video sources, and feedback from Mohave County Emergency Management. A brief tornado developed north of the I-40 corridor well east of Kingman, about 2 miles northeast of exit 59 (the DW Ranch Rd exit). This tornado was seen moving north-northeast, staying across desert land and in contact with the ground for about 8 minutes, becoming rope-like in nature and eventually dissipating. No reports of any damage or injuries. $$
