...NWS LAS VEGAS CONFIRMS EF-0 TORNADO IN MOHAVE COUNTY ARIZONA 
TODAY... 

.OVERVIEW...Multiple reports of a tornado were received Friday 
morning, including pictures and video from Mohave County Emergency
Management and social media reports from the public. The tornado 
is estimated to have tracked about a mile across unpopulated 
desert land about 2 miles north of Interstate 40 and 8 miles east 
of the Kingman, AZ Airport. Details were estimated from radar and 
photo and video footage as well as reports from Mohave County 
Emergency Management.

Survey Summary: No formal survey was performed; however, a 
reasonable estimate of the track, timing, and location were 
determined from radar, multiple photo and video sources, and 
feedback from Mohave County Emergency Management. A brief tornado 
developed north of the I-40 corridor well east of Kingman, about 2
miles northeast of exit 59 (the DW Ranch Rd exit). This tornado 
was seen moving north-northeast, staying across desert land and in
contact with the ground for about 8 minutes, becoming rope-like 
in nature and eventually dissipating. No reports of any damage or 
injuries.
