...NWS Damage Survey For February 20th Tornado Event...

.Overview...A line of thunderstorms moved across North and 
Central Texas during the overnight hours on Tuesday, February 20th.
As the line moved northeastward, at least three brief tornadoes 
occurred, two in Johnson County, and one in southern Dallas County. 
The strongest was in DeSoto, but winds remained around 85 mph in 
all three.

Summary: This tornado began just south of FM 917 just west of Wild
Berry Trail in northwestern Johnson County. This tornado produced
a narrow path of damage to the northeast, damaging several 
manufactured homes and destroying at least two homes. Several other 
homes suffered roof damage. Two people were injured.

Summary: This brief tornado occurred just to the east of the city 
of Joshua, also along FM 917, but just east of Johnson County Road 803.
One home suffered major roof damage, while several vehicles and trees
were damaged.

Summary: This brief tornado began on the south side of Eagle Drive,
just north of a football stadium. This tornado produced a narrow 
swath of damage to the northeast, significantly damaging several 
homes, including one that lost a garage roof.
