.UPDATE...
Issued at 856 PM EST Wed Jan 24 2024

A few light showers are present on radar once again this
evening. Winds have veered increasingly southeasterly compared to
the previous few days, however. So, much of this activity has
remained over the Atlantic waters. Nonetheless, a few of these
showers could drift onshore into the coast overnight, especially
from around Melbourne southward. Any accumulations will be
minimal.

Winds remaining slightly elevated along the Treasure Coast
tonight. But, will see light winds along and north of the I-4
corridor. Models suggest some patchy fog development in this area,
though there are discrepancies not only between them, but from
run to run. Thus, the fog forecast overnight is low confidence.
But use caution on the roads overnight and slow down, should you
encounter any fog through the morning commute. Overnight lows in
the mid to upper 60s, which will once again threaten a few warm
minimum temperatures at the climate sites.

.MARINE...
Issued at 856 PM EST Wed Jan 24 2024

Poor to hazardous boating conditions lingering overnight, with
southeast winds 15-20kts. Seas up to 7ft well offshore north of
Sebastian Inlet. Small Craft Advisories remain in effect for this
area. Small craft should exercise caution in the Treasure Coast
waters, as well as the nearshore Brevard waters. A few light
showers will continue through at least midnight.

.AVIATION...
(00Z TAFS)
Issued at 856 PM EST Wed Jan 24 2024

VFR conditions largely prevailing through the period. However,
lower confidence in some patchy fog developing overnight, leading
the high-end MVFR visibility for LEE/MCO/ISM/SFB. Otherwise, CIGs
SCT-BKN040-050 into Thursday afternoon. Southeast winds generally
light overnight, except for the Treasure Coast, which will remain
around 8-10kts. Then, winds increase by late morning, becoming
10-14kts, with some gusts to around 20-22kts possible from MLB
southward along the coast during the afternoon. A few light
showers will remain possible, but coverage and confidence are too
low to include a VCSH mention.
