Issued at 856 PM EST Wed Jan 24 2024 A few light showers are present on radar once again this evening. Winds have veered increasingly southeasterly compared to the previous few days, however. So, much of this activity has remained over the Atlantic waters. Nonetheless, a few of these showers could drift onshore into the coast overnight, especially from around Melbourne southward. Any accumulations will be minimal. Winds remaining slightly elevated along the Treasure Coast tonight. But, will see light winds along and north of the I-4 corridor. Models suggest some patchy fog development in this area, though there are discrepancies not only between them, but from run to run. Thus, the fog forecast overnight is low confidence. But use caution on the roads overnight and slow down, should you encounter any fog through the morning commute. Overnight lows in the mid to upper 60s, which will once again threaten a few warm minimum temperatures at the climate sites. && .MARINE... Issued at 856 PM EST Wed Jan 24 2024 Poor to hazardous boating conditions lingering overnight, with southeast winds 15-20kts. Seas up to 7ft well offshore north of Sebastian Inlet. Small Craft Advisories remain in effect for this area. Small craft should exercise caution in the Treasure Coast waters, as well as the nearshore Brevard waters. However, lower confidence in some patchy fog developing overnight, leading the high-end MVFR visibility for LEE/MCO/ISM/SFB. Otherwise, CIGs SCT-BKN040-050 into Thursday afternoon. Southeast winds generally light overnight, except for the Treasure Coast, which will remain around 8-10kts. Then, winds increase by late morning, becoming 10-14kts, with some gusts to around 20-22kts possible from MLB southward along the coast during the afternoon.
