THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.RIP CURRENT IMPACT...
Increasing southeast winds over the Atlantic today will lead to a
strong northward flowing longshore current in the surf zone today.
Rip currents will also be present near piers and jetties. If you
find yourself being pulled northward in the surf today, do not
attempt to swim directly against the current. Instead, either swim
to shore, or close enough to where you can walk back up to the
point you came from.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.
Deteriorating boating conditions are expected from late Sunday
afternoon into Sunday night as south to southwest winds increase
ahead of an approaching cool front. Isolated lightning storms
will also be possible on Sunday, and then again next Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today.
