  Limited excessive cold risk.

DISCUSSION...

Temperatures and wind chills will start off in the single
digit to teens early this morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Showers and perhaps an isolated thunderstorm is possible
Thursday night into early Friday morning mainly along the
  Missouri Arkansas state line.

A stronger storm system will approach the area on Saturday.
Widespread showers and thunderstorms are possible. While some
strong storms are possible, the amount of instability is still

heavy rainfall threats. Gusty winds up to 30 mph are likely to
  occur Saturday into Sunday.
