National Weather Service Bismarck ND
658 PM CDT Fri Jul 27 2018

.UPDATE...
Issued at 656 PM CDT Fri Jul 27 2018

Going forecast remains in good shape with isolated showers and a
couple thunderstorms continuing. Expect activity to taper as the
evening continues.

&&

.SHORT TERM...(This evening through Saturday)
Issued at 201 PM CDT Fri Jul 27 2018

Weak northwest flow aloft with several weak perturbations will
maintain at least a slight chance of showers and isolated
thunderstorms through Saturday. Lack of cape and shear will keep
the severe weather threat very low. Below normal temperatures will
continue with lows tonight in the upper low to mid 50s and highs
Saturday in the 70s.

.LONG TERM...(Saturday night through Friday)
Issued at 201 PM CDT Fri Jul 27 2018

The temperatures over the extended period will return to normal
by early next week as the cool upper low over the Great Lakes
region moves east allowing a more progressive flow to return to
teh wester and central CONUS. During this period several short
wave troughs will bring in chances for thunderstorms as they track
across the Canadian border Tuesday and again Thursday night and
Friday.

.AVIATION...(For the 00Z TAFS through 00Z Saturday evening)
Issued at 656 PM CDT Fri Jul 27 2018

Isolated showers and thunderstorms will gradually end this
evening, but will again be possible on Saturday. Otherwise, mainly
VFR conditions are expected.
