This brings the total number of tornadoes for this event to 22, which is the most tornadoes recorded in a calendar day in the history of the NWS Paducah office (since 1995). The previous daily record for most tornadoes was 21, set on May 6, 2003. .McMullin, MO... Rating: EF-1 Estimated Peak Wind: 110 mph Path Length /statute/: 1.14 miles Path Width /maximum/: 250 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/02/2025 Start Time: 07:30 PM CDT Start Location: 4 SE Vanduser / Scott County / MO Start Lat/Lon: 36.9503 / -89.6324 End Date: 04/02/2025 End Time: 07:31 PM CDT End Location: 4 S Hay-Wood City / Scott County / MO End Lat/Lon: 36.9536 / -89.6141 Survey Summary: A brief EF-1 tornado with peak winds of 110 mph touched down just west of McMullin, MO, then moved eastward into the town before lifting as it crossed US Highway 61. The Heartland Application and Equipment building was completely destroyed and multiple homes suffered extensive roof damage.
