...NWS Damage Survey for 04/02/25 Tornado Event # 17...

A tornado tracked almost ten miles through Carlisle County
Wednesday evening.

Survey Summary:
Evidence of a tornado was noted along Hollow Road with trees down
across the road. It may have started further southwest closer to
the Mississippi River but with ongoing flooding was unable to
survey past this point. EF-2 damage was noted along Highway
County Road 1320 where some power poles were snapped. A garage
was destroyed as it was lifted off its foundation and pushed a
little ways. Dozens of trees were snapped or uprooted along the
path. There was a good amount of 70 to 90 mph straight line wind
damage outside of the tornado track, most notably to the south of
it.
