A tornado tracked almost ten miles through Carlisle County Wednesday evening. .Bardwell... Rating: EF2 Estimated Peak Wind: 115 mph Path Length /statute/: 9.73 miles Path Width /maximum/: 200 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/02/2025 Start Time: 08:00 PM CDT Start Location: 5 NNW Columbus / Carlisle County / KY Start Lat/Lon: 36.8334 / -89.1289 End Date: 04/02/2025 End Time: 08:09 PM CDT End Location: 2 SSW Blandville / Carlisle County / KY End Lat/Lon: 36.9088 / -88.981 Survey Summary: Evidence of a tornado was noted along Hollow Road with trees down across the road. It may have started further southwest closer to the Mississippi River but with ongoing flooding was unable to survey past this point. EF-2 damage was noted along Highway County Road 1320 where some power poles were snapped. A garage was destroyed as it was lifted off its foundation and pushed a little ways. Dozens of trees were snapped or uprooted along the path.
