Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 80 mph Path Length /statute/: 1.42 miles Path Width /maximum/: 30 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 07/15/2024 Start Time: 08:38 PM CDT Start Location: 2 WSW Cazenovia / Woodford County / IL Start Lat/Lon: 40.8433 / -89.3761 End Date: 07/15/2024 End Time: 08:39 PM CDT End Location: 1 SW Cazenovia / Woodford County / IL End Lat/Lon: 40.8368 / -89.3505 Survey Summary: This tornado touched down north of Black Partridge Rd and moved southeast doing just tree damage at three properties along the road. The worst tree damage was to a property west-northwest of the intersection of Black Partridge Rd and Wienman Rd. At this property, a dozen trees were damaged. The tornado continued to the southeast and only damaged a corn field. This damage could be seen from satellite data. The tornado dissipated about 3 tenths of a mile southeast of the intersection of Black Partridge Rd and Wienman Rd. .Minonk Tornado... Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 85 mph Path Length /statute/: 3.73 miles Path Width /maximum/: 30 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 07/15/2024 Start Time: 08:55 PM CDT Start Location: 2 ESE Minonk / Woodford County / IL Start Lat/Lon: 40.8834 / -88.996 End Date: 07/15/2024 End Time: 09:00 PM CDT End Location: 4 WNW Flanagan / Livingston County / IL End Lat/Lon: 40.9009 / -88.9286 Survey Summary: This tornado touched down near a residence on County Rd 2000, east-southeast of Minonk, damaging several trees on the property. The tornado moved northeast through several corn fields and did quite a bit of damage to the corn. Evidence of this could be seen using satellite data. The tornado damaged more trees at a residence on County Rd 2100 very close to the Livingston County line. The tornado did cross into Livingston County near the intersection of County Rd 2100 N and County Rd 3200 and damaged a power pole, some trees and more corn behind a house at this intersection.
