Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 110 mph Path Length /statute/: 5.89 miles Path Width /maximum/: 300 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/20/2023 Start Time: 03:56 PM CDT Start Location: 2 ESE Morrison / Whiteside County / IL Start Lat/Lon: 41.8008 / -89.9283 End Date: 04/20/2023 End Time: 04:03 PM CDT End Location: 2 ENE Malvern / Whiteside County / IL End Lat/Lon: 41.8542 / -89.8393 Survey Summary: A sporadic EF1 tornado begun just east of Morrison IL around 3:56 PM. The tornado damaged a power pole and a tree at this location. The tornado then caused sporadic damage until it approached Fulfs Road. At this location it strengthened and caused damage to trees, farm outbuildings and a power pole. The tornado shortly ended after this location. Wind speeds are estimated in the 105-110 MPH range.
