...NWS Damage Survey for 04/05/23 Tornado Event...

.Overview...An early morning line of thunderstorms moved through
southern Wisconsin on April 5th between 5-7am. Tree damage occurred
in Beloit, but is believed to have been from downburst winds based
upon tree damage patterns and surveillance video. Further east, 
a more obvious tornado damage path occurred east of Lake Geneva. 
This tornado was very brief but went through at least two
residences.  Trees were in a convergent pattern and debris lofted.

Survey Summary:
Tornado started just east of Lake Geneva along Townline road
separating Town of Lyons and Town of Bloomfield near Hwy 12. 
Tornado did the most damage to a residence's yard in the Cobble
Creek neighborhood where a distinct convergent path of lofted
debris was noted.  Numerous trees uprooted with some minor
structural damage to the house (roofing-shingles/soffit). 
Tornado lofted a fire pit from that property to the end of the
driveway of a neighboring property at the end of Cobble Creek. 
Debris lofted into the field between the two properties as well.
