.Overview...A cold front brought a line of severe
thunderstorms across East Texas, leading to damaging 
winds and a brief tornado embedded within the line.

Survey Summary: 
A tornado embedded within a quasi-linear convective system (QLCS) 
briefly touched down along Farm Road 130. It uprooted approximately 10 
trees in a convergent pattern along with downing several small 
and large tree limbs.  

A special thanks goes out to Cass County Emergency Management and
the Texas Division of Emergency Management for their assistance in 
locating damage during the survey.  

EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the
following categories.

EF0...Weak......65 TO 85 mph
EF1...Weak......86 TO 110 mph
EF2...Strong....111 TO 135 mph
EF3...Strong....136 TO 165 mph
EF4...Violent...166 TO 200mph
EF5...Violent...>200mph
