Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 110 mph Path Length /statute/: 3.6 miles Path Width /maximum/: 100.0 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/11/2022 Start Time: 06:33 PM CDT Start Location: 1 E Scranton / Logan County / AR Start Lat/Lon: 35.3586 / -93.5116 End Date: 04/11/2022 End Time: 06:44 PM CDT End Location: 3 ENE Morrison Bluff / Logan County / AR End Lat/Lon: 35.3935 / -93.468 Survey Summary: This tornado started east of Scranton, just southwest of the intersection of AR Hwy 197 and Stoney Point Rd. Significant damage was observed to a metal barn building (worst damage here), along with roof damage to a mobile home. Several trees were snapped or uprooted in this area and just northeast. More tree damage was noted as the tornado moved northeast through some forest, snapping or uprooting many trees, crossing Cane Creek Recreation Rd. A small outbuilding was destroyed as the tornado crossed Tokalon Rd. The rest of the track was mainly tree damage until the tornado lifted just north of Dublin Rd west of the Jones Rd intersection. .Cato Tornado... Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 90 mph Path Length /statute/: 7.7 miles Path Width /maximum/: 100.0 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/11/2022 Start Time: 08:07 PM CDT Start Location: 4 ESE Mayflower / Faulkner County / AR Start Lat/Lon: 34.9554 / -92.3447 End Date: 04/11/2022 End Time: 08:18 PM CDT End Location: 2 NNE Gibson / Pulaski County / AR End Lat/Lon: 34.9315 / -92.2142 Survey Summary: This tornado started in the northern edge of Camp Robinson Army Base just southeast of the intersection of AR Hwy 89 and Clinton Rd., evident in areal footage. The tornado traveled generally east-southeast, mainly uprooting trees and blowing down tree limbs. This tornado crossed Cato Rd north of the community of Cato, uprooting more trees. The tornado lifted near the intersection of Batesville Pike and Fortson Rd. Sporadic wind damage was noted south of this tornado, likely due to rear flank downdraft winds over 60 mph.
