...EARLY MORNING QLCS EPISODE

.OVERVIEW... A Squall Line moved into west-central Minnesota 
and quickly developed multiple areas of embedded squalls and 
potential tornadic zones as it moved across Otter Tail County. 
At least three tornado paths were discovered, all of which 
exhibited intermittent ground contact within a larger field 
of downburst winds.

SURVEY SUMMARY: THE TORNADO UPROOTED OR SNAPPED NUMEROUS COTTONWOOD 
            TREES IN A FARMSTEAD and multiple SHELTER BELTS ALONG ITS 
            PATH. IT SNAPPED A FEW POWER POLES AND IT TORE THE ROOF 
            OFF AND COLLAPSED WALLS AT A WELDING AND MANUFACTURING 
            SHOP NEAR THE AIRPORT. IT LIKELY LIFTED NEAR THE NORTHWEST 
            END OF TOWN WHERE IT MAY HAVE MANGLED A WIND TURBINE BLADE.

SURVEY SUMMARY: THIS TORNADO LIKELY CROSSED Pickerel AND LONG LAKES, 
            ENDING JUST BEFORE RUSH LAKE. IT UPROOTED OR SNAPPED 
            NUMEROUS PINE AND OAK TREES, ALONG WITH POWER POLES. IN 
            THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF LONG LAKE IT TUMBLED SEVERAL 
            TRAVEL TRAILERS, TORE ROOF Sections OFF OF A POLE SHED, 
            AND TUMBLED AN IRRIGATION SYSTEM.

SURVEY SUMMARY: THIS TORNADO SNAPPED MULTIPLE POWER POLES AT THREE 
            POINTS ALONG ITS PATH. IT ALSO TOSSED CALVING SHEDS AND 
            FLIPPED AN Irrigation SYSTEM, WHILE SURROUNDING WINDS 
            BROKE DOWN TREES IN AND AROUND THE PATH.
