...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR 07/06/20 STATE LINE TORNADO EVENT...

The State Line Tornado developed in southeastern Crook County,
Wyoming and crossed into Lawrence County, South Dakota. The 
tornado developed south of Cement Ridge, in Smith Draw, near 
Riflepit Canyon Road and traveled southeast across Tinton Road and
Limestone Road, before dissipating near Forest Service 223 Road.
Numerous large pine trees were snapped and uprooted along the
path. Straight-line wind damage from a strong rear flank downdraft
was observed to the south of the tornado along Timber Gulch Road.
