...Northwest Minnesota Tornado...

.OVERVIEW...A series of thunderstorms moved northwest into 
portions of northwest Minnesota through the late afternoon and 
evening. A number of storms developed into supercell thunderstorms
and produced numerous distinct funnels and weak tornadoes. One of
the storms produced either cyclic tornadoes or closely clustered 
funnels and/or tornadoes, with all storms tracking toward the 
east-northeast.

SURVEY SUMMARY: This tornado tracked for about 1.2 miles and 
uprooted fir and pine trees, and snapped several large diameter 
ash and poplar trees along the Faunce-Butterfield Road SW roughly 
4 miles southwest of the Norris Camp DNR station.
