Additional assessment is ongoing in western Coffee County. .DALE/HENRY COUNTY LONG-TRACK TORNADO... Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 105 mph Path Length /statute/: 25.35 miles Path Width /maximum/: 150.0 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/19/2020 Start Time: 11:20 PM CDT Start Location: 1 ENE Ozark / Dale County / AL Start Lat/Lon: 31.4567 / -85.641 End Date: 04/19/2020 End Time: 11:45 PM CDT End Location: 1 NNE Balkum / Henry County / AL End Lat/Lon: 31.4289 / -85.2218 Survey Summary: A long-track tornado touched down in Ozark, AL and produced EF- 1 damage along most of its 25-mile long track, mostly in the form of snapped or uprooted trees. In Ozark, the tornado removed the brick facade from the side of a doctor s office on Community Drive and tore some siding off a business on James St. The tornado continued southeast out of Ozark and snapped some trees in a subdivision in the vicinity of County Routes 20 and 27 before turning more eastward and damaging trees all the day to the county line. The tornado crossed into Henry County and severely damaged several small barns, farm buildings and silos northwest of Newville, AL. Within Newville and along U.S. 431, the tornado produced some EF-0 damage to the roofs of several homes. The tornado then continued to damage trees until it lifted just east of CR 103. ..GENEVA COUNTY TORNADO... Rating: EF0 Estimated Peak Wind: 75 mph Path Length /statute/: 1.4 miles Path Width /maximum/: 100.0 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/19/2020 Start Time: 11:32 PM CDT Start Location: 1 N Oak Grove / Geneva County / AL Start Lat/Lon: 31.1022 / -85.774 End Date: 04/19/2020 End Time: 11:35 PM CDT End Location: 1 E Oak Grove / Geneva County / AL End Lat/Lon: 31.0862 / -85.7594 Survey Summary: This brief tornado touched down near Roaring Creek and damaged some trees near the intersection of County Routes 38 and 52 before lifting. Damage was consistent with EF-0. ..HENRY COUNTY TUMBLETON TORNADO... The tornado continued northeast through the town of Tumbleton, damaging several single family homes. The tornado destroyed a double wide mobile home northeast of Tumbleton, leading to one fatality. The peak damage was noted from Tumbleton to the mobile home, with winds estimated at 125 mph. The tornado continued northeast, damaging another single family home and outbuildings. The tornado lifted near County Road 53. Here it damaged the roof of a home and tore a portion of the roof off of a storage facility. It tracked southeast and damaged the roof of approximately eight homes in a neighborhood along Nottingham Way. The tornado continued to the southeast and downed trees along Harrington Lane where it quickly lifted. ..HENRY COUNTY TORNADO #2... A single family home was damaged and an automotive shop was destroyed at County Road 121. The tornado continued northeast, causing scattered tree damage before lifting near County Road 53 after damaging an additional structure. ..HENRY COUNTY TORNADO #3... Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 95 mph Path Length /statute/: 6.64 miles Path Width /maximum/: 100.0 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/19/2020 Start Time: 11:46 PM CDT Start Location: 2 SE Dancey / Henry County / AL Start Lat/Lon: 31.4453 / -85.2642 End Date: 04/19/2020 End Time: 11:50 PM CDT End Location: 1 N Miller / Henry County / AL End Lat/Lon: 31.4486 / -85.1526 Survey Summary: The 4th and final Henry County tornado touched down just west of County Road 99 south of County Road 66 and then tracked eastward, lifting just east of County Road 95. Damage was primarily confined to snapped trees and consistent with EF-1 damage. There was some damage to the roof of a double-wide manufactured home on Field Road. ..MITCHELL/WORTH COUNTY TORNADO... Rating: EF2 Estimated Peak Wind: 120 mph Path Length /statute/: 8.6862 miles Path Width /maximum/: 500.0 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/20/2020 Start Time: 02:10 AM EDT Start Location: 2 NW Bridgeboro / Mitchell County / GA Start Lat/Lon: 31.4238 / -84.0001 End Date: 04/20/2020 End Time: 02:14 AM EDT End Location: 2 SE Gordy / Worth County / GA End Lat/Lon: 31.4607 / -83.8621 Survey Summary: Tornado touched down just west of the Mitchell/Worth County line along South County Line Road, damaging a mobile home. The tornado continued northeast, impacting several single family homes along Highway 112 and York Road. Damage to a home on York Road was consistent with an EF2 tornado wind peak winds around 120mph. The tornado lift shortly after crossing York Road, with no additional damage noted.
