...NWS Damage Survey For 04/22/20 Tornado Event - Update #2...

.Update...Added details from Garvin County Tornado, the first
Springer Tornado, and the Bromide-Wapanucka Tornado. 

.Overview...Six tornadoes are listed below. Two additional 
tornadoes have been confirmed, but no damage has been documented
from these tornadoes yet. One large tornado developed northeast of 
Springer and moved east-northeast between 424 PM and 437 PM. 
However, this tornado occurred over roadless areas of the southern
slopes of the Arbuckle Mountains, so any damage and specifics of
the path are currently unknown. Another brief tornado was observed
at 445 PM approximately 4 miles southwest of Madill with no known 
damage. Investigation on all of these tornadoes is ongoing and 
specific information may change before being finalized.

Summary: A tornado moved east-southeast from west of County Road
3210 about a mile and a half north of State Highway 29 to just 
east of Indian Meridian Road. Seven homes, a few outbuildings
trees and power poles were damaged.

Summary: A brief tornado with debris was observed from close
range. The specific character of the debris and associated
damage is unknown. This was a brief first tornado that occurred 
about a minute before a larger tornado developed northeast of 
Springer.

Summary: The Madill tornado initially developed near State 
Highway 99C and west of Breezy Hill Road. The tornado moved east- 
northeast along and just north of Highway 99C and then crossed 
US-377 and moved through the southern portion of the city of 
Madill. The tornado turned east-southeast and dissipated about 2 
miles southeast of the center of Madill. EF2 damage was noted to 
houses and industrial buildings in the south part of Madill and 
to power poles along the path. Investigation of this tornado and
damage will continue.

.Little City/Cumberland Tornado...

Summary: This tornado touched down about 3 miles west-northwest of
Armstrong and moved generally east for at least 5 miles damaging 
a number of homes, barns and trees. The investigation of this 
tornado continues and it may have continued farther east to an area
southeast of Caddo.

EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into
the following categories.

EF0...Weak......65 TO 85 mph
EF1...Weak......86 TO 110 mph
EF2...Strong....111 TO 135 mph
EF3...Strong....136 TO 165 mph
