Start Location...2 W Massillon in Stark County OH End Location...1 S East Sparta in Stark County OH Date...04/08/2020 Estimated Time...12:11 AM EDT Maximum EF-Scale Rating...EF-0 Estimated Maximum Wind Speed...84 mph Maximum Path Width...100.0 yards Path Length...14.49 miles Beginning Lat/Lon...40.7953 / -81.5559 Ending Lat/Lon...40.6535 / -81.3533 * Fatalities...0 * Injuries...0 ...Summary... Intermittent path starting 2 miles west of Massillon around 12:11 am and continuing southeast toward Kamary Ave where a barn was damaged. The tornado touched down again NW of Sparta and continued south-southeast to the the Stark County line near OH- 800 at 12:30 am. Uprooted or damaged trees were observed along the intermittent path. Some of the trees did fall onto homes. A few homes had minor to moderate roof damage. A roof was also lifted off a barn with some of the walls collapsing. Thanks to the Stark County Emergency Management for their assistance with this survey.
