Start Location...3 SSE Grafton in Lorain County OH End Location...1 SE Medina in Medina County OH Date...04/07/2020 Estimated Time...11:30 PM EDT Maximum EF-Scale Rating...EF1 Estimated Maximum Wind Speed...100 mph Maximum Path Width...100.0 yards Path Length...11.48 miles Beginning Lat/Lon...41.2387 / -82.0136 Ending Lat/Lon...41.1249 / -81.8535 * Fatalities...0 * Injuries...0 ...Summary... An EF-1 tornado with maximum winds of 100 mph, a maximum width of 100 yards, and path length of 11.48 miles touched down several miles southeast of Grafton in Lorain County at 11:30 PM EDT. A barn was destroyed at around 11:31 PM EDT in Grafton Township. The tornado path then became intermittent along the Lorain and Medina County line where damage consistent of an EF-0 was found. The tornado finally continued southeast into the city of Medina where both EF-0 and EF-1 damage were found. Extensive damage to trees and power lines was found in the city of Medina. The tornado lifted just south of the city of Medina at 11:40 PM EDT.
