The twister also caused roof damage to a residence and knocked down some high powered transmission poles. NWS appreciates AES for their assistance with this survey. .Mulberry Canyon Tornado #1... It damaged the roof of a nearby home. It's possible that Mulberry 1 and Mulberry 2 tornadoes are one track. After additional survey, we may prove this. We also received report of damage to a wind turbine and power lines in nearby Nolan County, but we'll need more details to include in this report. .Tye Tornado... Rating: EF-2 Estimated Peak Wind: 135 mph Path Length /statute/: 3.6 miles Path Width /maximum/: 1050 yards Fatalities: None Injuries: None Start Date: March 19 2020 Start Time: 143 AM CDT Start Location: 6.7 Miles NE of Abilene / Taylor County / TX Start Lat/Lon: 32.5335 / -99.6739 End Date: March 19 2020 End Time: 147 AM CDT End Location: 9.6 Miles NE of Abilene / Taylor County / TX End Lat/Lon: 32.5627 / -99.6264 Survey Summary: This tornado damaged a large building near Hamby. It damaged or destroyed about 100 vehicles in the parking lot and it tossed one of them about 300 yards into a nearby lake. It also destroyed a garage of a nearby home and removed the metal roof. The tornado removed some A/C units from the roof of the large building and tore up some fencing. The tornado also damaged a small building near the entrance.
