Rating: EF1 Estimated Peak Wind: 110 mph Path Length /statute/: 5.33 miles Path Width /maximum/: 200.0 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 03/28/2020 Start Time: 04:18 PM CDT Start Location: 4 S Amagon / Jackson County / AR Start Lat/Lon: 35.5072 / -91.1184 End Date: 03/28/2020 End Time: 04:24 PM CDT End Location: 3 E Amagon / Jackson County / AR End Lat/Lon: 35.5627 / -91.0524 Survey Summary: Damage began in the small community of Algoa, where trees were uprooted and numerous metal buildings were damaged. Some homes in this area sustained roof damage. The tornado continued to the northeast, crossing several county roads. Along these roads, damage was noted to farm equipment as well as metal buildings that housed farm equipment. The damage path ended north of Highway 14 where a few homes sustained damage to roofs as well as several trees uprooted. Tornado damage concluded approximately 0.75 miles west of the Poinsett County line.
