Minor damage occurred off Fairplay Road southwest of Townville when

of the larger area of damage, bringing down a few trees, throwing
wrought-iron porch furniture off the back porch of a house, and
destroying a carport-like barn. Metal sheeting from the barn roof was
thrown over a quarter of a mile, with a 2x4 impaled into a tractor and

Hundreds of trees were blown down by the straight-line winds mentioned

weak anticyclonic circulation developed, embedded in the larger area of
damaging winds. This brief tornado resulted in a concentration of
downed trees on the lake side of Forest Drive and the end of Circle Drive.
The circulation moved over the lake with no notable damage on the other
side.
