Rating: EF2 Estimated Peak Wind: 111-135 mph Path Length /statute/: 13.6 miles Path Width /maximum/: 250 yards Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 01/10/2020 Start Time: 07:44 PM CST Start Location: 2 SE Cove Lake / Logan County / AR Start Lat/Lon: 35.2151 / -93.5999 End Date: 01/10/2020 End Time: 08:02 PM CST End Location: 1 ENE Tokalon / Logan County / AR End Lat/Lon: 35.3784 / -93.4622 Survey Summary: This tornado touched down east of Cove Lake off of Mt. Salem Road where a barn was destroyed. This tornado continued northeast damaging a mobile home along St. Louis Valley Road. After crossing Arkansas Hwy 109 just west of Midway, the tornado destroyed a mobile home off of Old Military Road. As the tornado crossed Hwy 109 again south of Prarie View, chicken houses were destroyed. Homes lost large sections of their roofs along Parks Road southeast of Prarie View, but most of their walls remain. Additional outbuildings and chicken houses were damaged or destroyed east of Scranton. Several trees and power lines were blow down along the path. This tornado lifted just north of the Tokalon community. .Seaton Tornado... Several power poles were snapped. A house sustained roof damage. A storage shed set into the ground with concrete was blown up and out of the ground about 100 feet. It ended up in several large trees and was completely destroyed. Part of the roof of a metal barn was peeled back.
