Rating: EF3 Estimated Peak Wind: 140-145 mph Path Length /statute/: 2.2 miles Path Width /maximum/: 75 yards Fatalities: 2 Injuries: 19 Start Date: 05/25/2019 Start Time: 10:28 PM CDT Start Location: 2 S El Reno / Canadian County / OK Start Lat/Lon: 35.50 / -97.95 End Date: 05/25/2019 End Time: 10:32 PM CDT End Location: 2 ESE El Reno / Canadian County / OK End Lat/Lon: 35.51 / -97.92 Summary: This tornado developed just south of Interstate 40 near Choctaw Road producing some damage at a service station. The tornado moved east-northeast crossing Interstate 40 damaging billboards. Just north of Interstate 40 at U.S. Highway 62, the tornado caused significant damage at a motel and mobile home park and also damaged a car dealership. Most of the second story walls in one section of the motel were destroyed and many mobile homes were destroyed here. Two fatalities and numerous injuries occurred at this mobile home park. East of Highway 81, the tornado damaged an automobile service building and a house on Route 66. The tornado dissipated after producing tree damage on Alfadale Road north of Route 66.
