...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR 04/17/2019 TORNADO EVENT...

Four thin rope tornadoes were observed on Wednesday, April 17th. 
Three tornadoes developed with a severe thunderstorm near Glazier 
as it slowly moved northeast towards Higgins in the far 
northeastern Texas Panhandle. A few trees were damaged along Highway 
60 just southwest of Coburn with the second tornado that touched 
down. The fourth and final tornado was a brief landspout that 
developed east of Amarillo and stayed over open fields with no damage 
reported.
