NWS storm survey determined that an EF0 tornado first touched down on Green Tree Road in Chesapeake then quickly lifted off the ground. It then had a second touch down in Kempbridge where a single wide mobile home was destroyed. It strengthened to an EF2 (120 mph) where a church on Centerville Road was heavily damaged. It traveled on Stumpy Lake and Elbow Road while weakening to an EF1 (100-105 mph). The tornado traveled as a high end EF0 across Lancetown High School, Princess Ann, Tidewater Community College, Rosemont then lifted off the ground near the Light Horse Development. $$ 44
