427 WWUS20 KWNS 091908 SEL2 SPC WW 091908 INZ000-MIZ000-OHZ000-LHZ000-100200- URGENT - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED Severe Thunderstorm Watch Number 402 NWS Storm Prediction Center Norman OK 310 PM EDT Mon Jun 9 2025 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of Far Northern Indiana Lower Michigan Far Northwest Ohio Lake Huron * Effective this Monday afternoon and evening from 310 PM until 1000 PM EDT. * Primary threats include... Scattered damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible Isolated large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible SUMMARY...Thunderstorm coverage is expected to increase this afternoon ahead of an approaching shortwave trough. Multiple rounds of storms are possible, with damaging gusts as the primary threat. Isolated hail is possible as well. The severe thunderstorm watch area is approximately along and 65 statute miles east and west of a line from 55 miles north northwest of Saginaw MI to 40 miles south southeast of Kalamazoo MI.
