Estimated Peak Wind: 80 mph Fatalities: 0 Injuries: 0 Start Date: 04/02/2024 Start Time: 09:06 AM EDT Start Location: 1 NE Bondville / Mercer County / KY Start Lat/Lon: 37.9264 / -84.8606 End Date: 04/02/2024 End Time: 09:06 AM EDT End Location: 1 E Bondville / Mercer County / KY End Lat/Lon: 37.9189 / -84.8553 Survey Summary: The National Weather Service in Louisville confirmed straight- line winds in Salvisa. There was a bunch of cedar and maple tree damage off of Old Louisville Road on the north side of Salvisa. Three homes experienced shingle, gutter and roof damage. A barndominium had the most significant damage with a large section of the roof thrown several hundred yards to the east southeast. Wind speeds were estimated between 75 and 80 mph, with a width of the damage of up to a half mile sporadically.
