...Summary...

A brief tornado touched down in far southwest Ohio County, about
5 miles east-southeast of Cross Plains, in the 1600 block of 
Aberdeen Road. The tornado destroyed a barn and produced siding 
and roof damage, as well as rolling 2 recreational vehicles and 
toppling trees.  

Based on the degree of damage, the tornado produced winds of 
around 70 mph, and is rated EF-0 on the Enhanced Fujita Scale. 

The National Weather Service greatly appreciated the support and
assistance from Ohio County Indiana Emergency Management with
these findings.

EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the
following categories:

EF0...Weak......65 to 85 mph
EF1...Weak......86 to 110 mph
EF2...Strong....111 to 135 mph
EF3...Strong....136 to 165 mph
EF4...Violent...166 to 200 mph
EF5...Violent...>200 mph
