...STORM SURVEY COMPLETED FOR DAMAGE IN UNION COUNTY SC THAT
OCCURRED FROM SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ON 19 APRIL...

The National Weather Service has completed its survey of damage 
in Union County, South Carolina, that occurred from severe
thunderstorms on Friday, 19 April, 2019. Damage was limited to 
several trees knocked down or snapped in several locations along a
broad path stretching from west of Carlisle along Foster Howell 
Road to the area west of Lockhart north of Highway 9. As to 
whether or not the damage was caused by a tornado, the survey was 
inconclusive, and therefore has been ruled as being the result of 
a straight- line wind.
