Survey Summary:
The tornado touched down along Missouri State Highway 49 along 
the Iron-Wayne county line and traveled northeastward into Des
Arc. It produced EF-0-1 damage to homes along Highway 49 as it
entered the town, where it strengthened to its peak intensity
in the town itself. The tornado dissipated just north of 
Missouri State Highway 143.
