A microburst with maximum winds of 70 mph began on Baldwin Road 
and extended slightly northeast onto McPhilmy Road east of 
Lowville, NY near Petries Corners and Bushes Landing. Scattered 
trees were downed as a result of the microburst. The damage was 
most concentrated at the intersection of the two roads with all 
the downed trees pointing in a north-northeast direction.
