The National Weather Service office in Jackson MS will conduct a storm survey around January 5, 2023 for Ashley and Chicot Counties AR, Morehouse, and West Carroll Parishes, LA. The survey is in relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area on January 3-4, 2023. The results of the survey are expected to be transmitted via a Public Information Statement by this evening but additional surveys may be needed to complete a final assessment.
