A NWS damage survey determined that an EF-1 tornado with maximum 
winds of 90mph and a maximum width of 75 yards was on the ground 
for 6 miles. The tornado started southeast of Niangua and lifted
to the west of Grovespring. Along its path it uprooted or snapped
numerous trees, damaged or destroyed 5 outbuildings and 2 barns, 
overturned an RV camper and a few homes suffered minor damage.
