THE TORNADO SNAPPED NUMEROUS POPLAR AND PINE TREES IN GROVES ALONG ITS PATH, SPREADING DEBRIS UP TO 300 YARDS WIDE ACROSS ONE ROADWAY. PEAK WINDS ESTIMATED TO 100 MPH. MAXIMUM WIDTH TO 300 YARDS.
