Survey Summary: A tornado touched down near the Ocala weigh 
station along Interstate 75 near Mile Marker 340, lifting a 
stationary construction trailer across the roadway and snapping
numerous trees. The tornado continued on an intermittent path
for approximately 11.5 miles as it raced northeastward, touching
back down along Sapphire Run near Southeast Maricamp Road in the
vicinity of Silver Springs Shores, producing mostly minor roof 
and window damage.
