.Short term...
TONIGHT THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT...Dry airmass to the northwest flows
into the islands as abundant moisture and showers exit southeast.
A weak low about a 110 miles northwest of Tau will continue to
descend southeast to the Manua islands. Most of the low's
convections are been suppressed by dry air mixing into the
system. Satellite shows a single cell developing in the center
with minimum growth or expansion. ASCAT swath from this morning
shows breezy winds in the northeast quadrant of the weak low. As
dry air continues to feed into the low this afternoon, winds are
expected to slightly diminish to gentle flow. Soundings are now
showing stable conditions building over the islands. Expect gentle
north winds tonight before becoming variable after midnight.

.Long term...
WEDNESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...A line of showers to the northeast will
shift west on Wednesday. This will spread scattered showers over
the islands before passing on Wednesday night. A weak surface high
again bring stable conditions over the islands Thursday through
Saturday. Expect variable winds throughout the new week.
