Areas of snow will move across Western New York overnight. This will combine with winds gusting 50 to 60 mph to produce areas of blowing snow and localized whiteout conditions. Snowfall rates will vary in intensity, but it does not take much snow to make travel extremely difficult. Also be aware there is debris on many roadways from the strong winds. Travel will be extremely difficult overnight, and should be avoided if at all possible.
