...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR 12/01/18 AURORA TORNADO EVENT...

.OVERVIEW...A National Weather Service Damage Survey concluded that 
an EF-1 tornado touched down 2 miles south of Aurora, MO and tracked 
northeast to the Aurora Motel, where one fatality occurred. The tornado
then tracked northward across Highway 60 and impacted Southerlands 
before dissipating. The path length was approximately one half mile 
in length and up to 50 yards wide. Peak wind speed was estimated at 
105 MPH.
