...PUBLIC INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Due to a combination of recently observed low temperatures and 
collaboration with surrounding NWS offices, the Pittsburgh National
Weather Service office will no longer issue frost advisories or
freeze warnings for the following counties:

In Ohio:
Columbiana, Carroll, Tuscarawas, Coshocton, Muskingum, Guernsey, Noble.

In Pennsylvania:
Mercer, Venango, Forest, Lawrence, Clarion, Jefferson, and the ridges of
Westmoreland and Fayette Counties.

In West Virginia:
Preston, Tucker and the ridges of Monongalia County.

In Maryland:
Garrett.

The frost/freeze program will restart for these counties in the spring of
2019.
