ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: There were several tornado reports that were received during the severe weather event on Wednesday March 19. Local Storm Reports (LSRs) for those tornadoes were issued from the NWS office in Lincoln at the time due to radar signatures and environment that supported those reports. Subsequent analysis of videos and further contact with spotters in the areas of the tornadoes indicated that most of those circulations were actually gustnadoes and not tornadoes. Gustnadoes are surface-based circulations that develope along a gust front. Therefore, we have decided to not declare any additional tornadoes at this time. This statement is preliminary pending any additional information. $$ Shimon/Geelhart
